Hey everyone!  I've entertained the idea of starting a blog for a while now, but it wasn't until most recently that someone actually pushed me over the edge towards making one.

I didn't know the amount of leg work involved in starting one of these things.  Brainstorming with 4 or 5 friends, it took me almost an entire night to get this thing named.  Finally, Googling synonyms for miscellany, I realized that all it needed was a [d].  Shakespeare says "brevity is the soul of wit," but in case you didn't pick up on it, my name is Andy and this is going to be my personal blog.  The focus will be my life, opinions and experiences; one thing is certainly true: life is miscellany.  We are made up of an assortment of molecules, cells, organs, organ systems and our personalities are derived from the mélange of moments & memories.
